Wedding Season!

Dal and I have 4 really good friends getting married starting from May 7- June 16. We are really excited for all 4 of them! Three will be at the Manti Temple, and one at the Draper Temple. So I will update everyone with some pictures as the weddings come around.
The first one is Tyler (Beamer) and Kim Carlisle - May 7, 2010 in the Manti Temple.

Kim was a very beautiful bride, her dress was gorgeous!

It was a very pretty wedding! Dal was one of the groomsmen and looked completely handsome in his outfit!

Dal and Sean Olsen.
Dal, Sean Olsen, Wrex Lindsay, and Beamer's brother.
Dal and the groomsmen all had a lot of fun standing in the line goofing around. They were throwing baseball pitches to each other, fishing, etc, anything to keep themselves entertained.
Ok so Dal made me take a pic of this cute couple! haha they were completely decked out in bright purple cowboy getup. It was great!
This is how our lovely friend Ryan Frandsen dressed up for the occasion! Pretty spiffy huh?! Sad thing is, in Redmond, UT he fit right in!
Some of our friends at the wedding.
Ryan Frandsen and Karlie Jensen.
Jake Childs and Lance Ostler.

So far, 1 wedding down, and 3 more to come! :)

State Baseball, Go Bulldogs!

It was just one year ago when Dallin and I first started dating. I first met most of his family at State baseball last year. So it was exciting to go this year as a married couple, and to be with all of his family there again.
Unfortunately we didn't get to play for the championship, but my little bro Drayson did an awesome job and so did his team! It was really fun to watch.
Dray playing third base.
Dal and our friend Ryan Frandsen.
Cute bulldog brothers. Dallin, Drayson, and Devin.

Yay for baseball season! Dal and I watch on average about 4 baseball games every week on t.v. We love the Phillies, Red Sox, and the Giants! Its way fun bonding time, we get out the mountain dew, sunflower seeds (for Dal) and hand full of almonds (for me!), and kick back on the couch rooting for our teams!

Yay for game night! :)

Dal and I LOVE game night! Our favorite games to play together are Battleship, Trillon, Scrabble, and lots of puzzles. This puzzle was pretty tough and took about 2 weeks to finish, it doesn't look so tough, but all the colors matched which made it pretty difficult to do. But I Love the Titanic so I picked out this puzzle and was really excited to do it. Dal and I recommend Date/game night once a week to every couple! It's way fun, you get to spend time together, and it doesn't cost a thing (borrow games from neighbors to switch it up).

Provo Temple :)

It was my first time to go to this temple. It is really pretty! Dal and I attended the temple and then went shopping :) What a great day!
Our goal is to visit and attend every temple in Utah, so far we have 2 down (Manti, and Provo) and lots more to go! :)

People actually roll eggs on Easter?? what a strange tradition!

So apparently my family is not with the Sanpete traditions, we have never even heard of rolling eggs on Easter til I met Dal's family. People around here do some funky things. But apparently it's pretty popular to roll your Easter eggs down a hill, or something like that. Why, you ask? Well I'm still asking myself that same question. We spent Easter day with my family this year and Dallin thought it would be fun for my little brother to roll them down this really small hill at my house. I guess normally you're supposed to go to the sand dunes to do this tradition, but this small hill was suitable for a 4 year old. And surprisingly, it turned out to be so much fun!...

We all chose our challenger rolling eggs, here is mine.

So our egg rolling got a little wild and turned into a egg throwing competition, we decided it hurt too bad to throw the eggs at each other so we decided the point of attack was our telephone pole. Whoever could get the most gunk from the egg to stick to the pole wins! Little did we know that us girls have really bad aim and had a hard time overcoming that problem. Dallin was laughing so hard watching me, kaka, and rach try to hit this pole, which was sadly a mere 7 feet from us.

As you can see, Rach clearly won.

Here we are Easter egg hunting. Dal and Matthew were so funny to watch. Yes that's right, my cute boy still Easter egg hunts :) Overall, it was a really fun day!

Preparing for Easter!

This was our second Easter together! But the first one that we actually did something to celebrate Easter together.
We first spent some time with Dal's family and he painted this cute egg for us. What a sweetheart!
Then we went to my parents to paint eggs with Matthew, Rach, and Kaka.
Dal had to go to work so I painted lots of eggs for us :) aren't they cute??

Dal painted the three on the left, he was so proud of his red speckled egg. He is the greatest hubby cause he loves to do fun and silly things like this with me all the time! :)
haha I attempted to draw a bunny on the one on the left, and I ran out of things to color/write on the eggs, can you tell?! haha
Matthew was really funny and kept dropping the eggs like bombs into the color dye, which resulted in lots of cracked eggs, dye all over us, the table, the floor, our clothes, etc. You can only imagine how fun it was to clean it all up!
