Bingo!

Last night Dal went to a bachelor party for his friend Sean who is getting hitched in a few weeks. They played Bingo in Mesquite all night, and he had the best time. Get this?! To top his fun guy's night out, he got a blackout and won $250 playing Bingo!! haha Pretty exciting!

As for me, I spent the entire night watching a few Nicholas Spark's movies to get my girl's night on! It was quite enjoyable, I hardly ever get to watch chick flicks because Dal can't stand them. So I had a grand ole time watching them curled up on the couch with some tissues to wipe my tears from watching the sappy love stories, ha ha. It's quite funny how different guys and girls are with what we enjoy doing!!

He came home giddy like a school girl because he had so much fun with his friends, I'm glad he got to have a fun guys night out! And especially to have come home with more money than he left with, right on!!

Date Night

Hooray for date nights! On Thursday for date night we went to the Temple, and had a wonderful time there. And last night Dallin's cousins, Terilyn and Jared, took us to dinner at a yummy Mexican restaurant. It was fun to enjoy their company at dinner and to catch up with them! Afterwards Dal and I went to get snow cones, which are Dal's favorite dessert/treat. We love that we can get snow cones at 9:00pm and the weather is in the high 90's. Perfect snow cone weather! After our snow cones we had lots of fun driving to 3 different red boxes to find the movie that we wanted, ha ha. Then of course we watched the movie and cuddled on the couch. :) We love our date nights and feel blessed for all the times we have to spend together!!
A few updates...

Dal got accepted into the RN Nursing program at Weber!! We are very excited that he got into the program and I am very proud of him for all of his accomplishments. He will begin the Nursing program in August, and he will be doing the extension in Richfield. So, the plan for now, is that he will drive 2 hours to Richfield one day every week and stay for classes, and will drive the 2 hours back. I'm not too fond of him driving every week, especially through the winter, but he really doesn't have much of a choice unless we move, and we really don't want to move, unless a better job offer comes along, so I will support him through it all, with Lots of prayers!

I got called in to the Nursery in our ward, ha ha no surprise there! But I'm enjoying getting the know the children in our ward.

Dal and I are enjoying the heat in St. George and are enjoying all of the yummy restaurants and fun things to do here! It's amazing that almost every restaurant here has a gluten-free menu, hooray! So because of that we are enjoying going on lots of dates to try out all our choices. One of our new favorites is Red Robin, they have gluten-free buns!! But since we are vegetarian, I had them make me a grilled cheese with the gluten-free bun, and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! haha I crave it almost every day since we ate there. We have been on a few hikes this past month and are discovering how beautiful the red rocks are on the trails, oh yeah, and how hot it is!
