Update from our summer...

Our carved name at Lake Powell :)
So as you can probably tell, I haven't updated our blog in 4 and a half months! wow... i didn't realize how behind I am. But yes, we are still alive and still very much in love!! I went to print off our pics from the entire year, and first of all, wow, what a bill. and second of all, now I have to scrapbook them, oh dear. Wish me luck! but looking at them reminded me of all of the fun times we have had together, so it is definitely worth it!
So sit back and enjoy a series of events from our awesome summer together.....

Event: Run
This summer Aunt J and I became quite the runners, we ran every morning around 6 am and surprisingly, it was so much fun! In result of our hard work we ran a few races around the community. We even ran one on my 21st birthday at 6am. Go us!!
Lamb Day Race in Ft. Green

Event: Twilight
TWILIGHT!! Love it or hate it....
and I Love it.

I am for Team Jacob, unfortunately the theater did not have a life size of Jacob, and I wanted to steal it and bring it home for myself, what a waste. But Edward did justice for our Eclipse memory, so we had some fun with our cameras!

Event: Lake Powell

This is definitely one of our favorite things to do! Who wouldn't love not working, being in the hot sun all day, showering and shaving legs in a lake with lots of fish, wake boarding and water skiing, riding in a boat, and all of this at one of the most beautiful places on Earth?! You would have to be crazy to not Love being at Lake Powell.

Dallin skiing at Sunset.

One of our hikes: Moki, which is a giant, hot sand hill.

View from one of our hikes.
We found this on our hike, pretty neat.
Dallin caught the tiniest lizard I have ever seen, Cooper and Elle were so cute with it as you can tell from the picture!
Us tubing! So painful, but very fun!
Me wake boarding, so much fun!! This is definitely one of my favorite things to do, but sadly it takes a little coaxing to even get in the water. After I get brave and jump in the water alone, (this usually takes about 2-3 days to get over the fear) then I strap on that wake board and ride as long as I can, which is very exciting! However, my landing usually consists of me eating it hard on the water... whoops(still working on that part)! and it is quite painful might I add, but so worth it!! My side of the family probably has no clue I can even do this, I'm not very good but I get better every year!
...and here is Drayson showing off. What he does best at anything he and I compete in! haha as you can tell, he has me beat, but Ill get him when he comes back from his mission, its on!!

A double arch, how amazing!

Look how cute the Ball/Jones men are! Whoever said boys can't have girl time too :)

Another arch we saw on one of our hikes.

Ahh... Lake Powell, beautiful isn't it?! We had a great time! However,
this is the result of coming home.....
....an extremely hairy face, and angry eyes... Scary isn't it!?

It feels like forever since I last posted a blog, and lots of events have happened that I want to post.
To start off, my really nice digital camera broke! AHH... it is really depressing. So I have resorted to using Dallin's camera from his mission, lets just say its a little beat up, is quite old, and doesnt take as good of pictures, but it still does the trick. Hopefully I can get my camera fixed and we won't have to buy a new one.

May was quite a month for us. It included:

1 new nephew, 1 5k race
 2 birthdays,
3 friends weddings, 3 graduations,
and lots of fun!

Here are some pictures of our happenings in May.

To start off, we celebrated one of our nephews
first birthday at his home in Lehi with a fun little party.
Happy Birthday Maddix!

Then on May 18th we got a New nephew, Grady James Ball. And he is Very adorable!
Devin, Sarah, Cooper and Grady Ball
Dal and I holding baby Grady, how cute!

We went four wheeling with some of our friends up Mayfield canyon. It was still snowy and Really muddy, but overall was a lot of fun. We always have lots of fun with Dallin's friends, they are like family!

Matthew graduated from Pre-School!
He is growing up really fast; he is almost 5 and is extremely handsome!!
It was so cute watching him and his classmates sing their songs for us and tell us about their year in preschool.

Kaka's Dance Recital
Jess is a really good dancer and she is the Dance Sterling Scholar for Manti next year,
we are really proud of her!

Weddings!
We had 3 friends get married in May. It was really fun to attend all three temple ceremonies and wedding receptions for these 3 friends. They were all very beautiful and helped remind Dallin and I of our wedding, which was almost a year ago! I already posted pictures from one of them, here are the other 2.

Jack and Lisa Pay
May 20, 2010
Pay is one of Dallin's friends from Gunnison, and was one of his roommates at college.

Tyson and Kayla Hall
May 22, 2010
Kayla has been my best friend since 1st grade when my family moved to Manti! I love her lots; she was such a beautiful bride and I'm really happy for her and Tyson.

So far it has been quite the month! But there's still a little more to it... the last 2 weeks of May we had something to attend every single day! and we loved every minute of it.

Next event was Drayson's Graduation from Gunnison High School
Congrats Dray! We are proud of you :)

Rachel also graduated in May; she graduated from Snow College. She only attended one year and already has her associates, good job Rach!! She also had her 19th birthday on May 28th, so this was a fun month for her.

I'm a runner!
Guess what?! I ran my very first 5k race, and I loved it. After the 5k I pushed myself and have been working really hard with aunt Jennifer and we ran a 10k about 2 weeks ago!! I was so happy and sore after I ran that one :) I never thought I would say this, but I am becoming quite the runner. Dallin bought me really nice running shoes as an early birthday present, (that's what I wanted for my birthday and I love them and wear them around the house almost every day, just for fun) haha :) I would really like to run a 1/2 marathon.... maybe that is wishful thinking, but I'll run that someday, and hopefully someday soon!

Jess and her friend Rollin ran the Scandinavian 5k with me on May 29th.
Here we are modeling the shirts we got from running it.

Hiking
The last thing we did in May was to go hiking for Memorial Day with my family up Manti Canyon. It was Dad, Mom, Matthew, Rach, Jess, Jake and Becca and their two boys, and Dallin and I. We hiked up to Milky Falls, it was so pretty!
Matthew and Taylor fighting off the bad guys.

So as you can see Dal and I had our hands full with our running shoes on just to keep up with all that was going on in May. We enjoyed spending it together as a couple and spending some time with friends and family.
Stay tuned for our adventures in June!..........
